Meet Dr. Wade Port

Chiropractic in a Coffeehouse

Home to the largest chiropractic university in the world, Marietta is also Dr. Port’s hometown. His first exposure to chiropractic was while he was working at a coffeehouse on Marietta Square. “The shop was always full of students from Life University and one day one of the students asked me what I knew about chiropractic…from there I received my first chiropractic experience.”

The experience completely shifted and changed everything about Wade’s thought process and paradigm of life, health and healing. From that single experience at 17, he knew he was a chiropractor and that he would be going to Life University.

Education and Early Experience

Wade attended Georgia Military College then Georgia College & State University for his undergraduate degree in general studies. He then went on to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University. After graduation, Wade immediately moved to Sun Valley, Idaho, where he practiced from 2005 to late 2010.

While in the ski town he enjoyed caring for everyone, including Olympic and national athletes, touring musicians, best-selling author Tony Robbins, kids and mommies, seniors and even pets. It was in Sun Valley that he started Lifeworks Chiropractic. After selling his practice in Sun Valley in 2010 he moved back to East Cobb. His new practice in East Cobb is located in the same neighborhood that Wade grew up in.  Dr. Port is a member of the ICPA and is certified in Webster Technique
